CALIUT-WAYANAD-GURUVAYOOR-
MUNNAR-THEKKADY-COCHIN

Day-1

Arrival at Calicut.Transfer to Wynad,a cool hillstation surrounded by five wildlife sanctuaries. After lunch, proceed for sightseeing to Pookote lake, a freshwater lake where you can go for boating(optional) Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day-2

Depart to Kuruvadweep, a 1000 acre island in river Kabini, This is a haven for adventurers where river crossing ,trekking and swimming are included in activities.After a packed lunch in the middle of the river,proceed to Tholpetty wildlife sanctuary. You can see herds of elephants, sambhar deer, bison, etc during an 18 kms jeepride in the sanctuary.Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day-3

Wynad - Calicut sightseeing
Wynad-Calicut Depart to Calicut.Check in to a riverside resort.Proceed ti traditional ship building yard,Kappad beach and
Weavers colony. Return to the hotel for frefreshing boat ride in Chaliyar river.

Day-4

Calicut - Guruvayoor
Depart to Guruvayoor, famous Sree Krishna Temple in South India. Visit Punnathoorkotta where 52 elephants of the temple are housed. Here you will find the biggest elephant in Kerala.

Day-5

Guruvayoor -Cochin Sight Seeing.
After an early morning darshan in the temple (Only Hindus allowed inside the Temple), proceed to Cochin. Sight seeing to Fort Cochin. St. Francis church, Chinese fishing nets , Mattancherry Jewish Synagogue and Dutch Palace. At 1600 hrs. Go for village backwater cruise in a country boat through narrow canals and lake. Enjoy sunset and taste fresh sweet toddy taken directly from coconut tree. Learn how coir is made from the coconut husk.

Day-6

Cochin- Munnar
Cochin-MunnarDepart to Munnar, the land of rolling hills and tea estates. Transfer to resort.Visit Pothamedu valley view, Attukadu water falls and trek through the tea estates in the evening. Option for boating.

Day-7

Munnar,Today entire day is at your disposed.You will amazed to see greenery at Munnar,Visit Eravikulam National Park .Afternoon visit Mattuppady Dam etc .

Day-8

Depart to Thekkady Wild life Sanctuary.Check in Hotel. Go for a boat ride in the lake,Evening Plantaion tour,Spice shopping (optional:Ayurvedic massage)

Day-9

Depart to Cochin
